Galadriel is a fictional character created by Tolkien, appearing in his Middle-earth legendarium The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales.
She was a royal Elf of both the Noldor and the Teleri. The most striking feature of Galadriel is her beautiful long silver-golden hair.
Galadriel wears the Nenya ring, also named the Ring of Water: "On her finger was Nenya, the ring wrought of mithril, that bore a single white stone flickering like a frosty star." Nenya is one of the Three Rings. The other two rings are Narya, the ring of fire, and Vilya, the ring of air.
